"Everything Is Going To Be O.K.!"

Proverbs 18:24 "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." I (Louis) want to share a dream I had last night. I was sitting in my car in a parking lot leaning with my left arm out of the window talking to someone. As I talked to this person, I remember feeling discouraged and was thinking that I needed to talk to a certain friend. Looking out toward the front of the car, all of a sudden that friend appeared! There was an overwhelming sense of joy that came over me because I had not seen my friend for several years. As he approached the window, my friend looked very different. He had different color hair, eyes, and facial features than he had in real life but I knew this was my friend. I popped the car door open as quickly as I could. We reached to shake hands, as men do, but because we had not seen each other in a long time that handshake turned into a man hug. Overcome with the feelings of discouragement but having a sense of joy at the same time, I began to cry. My friend patted me on the back and said, "Everything is going to be O.K.!" Hearing his voice, I suddenly realized that this was not the friend I thought it was, it was Jesus! All feelings of discouragement left me and I felt refreshed, encouraged, and at peace. Is your life's dream not going according to plan? Are your relationships falling apart? Are your finances being impacted by our country's current economic situation? Whatever it is you are going through, know that you have a friend that sticks closer than a brother and His name is Jesus. I hope these words encourage you, "Everything is going to be O.K.!" Be refreshed and filled with joy and strength that only He can give you today. Have a great day! God bless you. Louis & Elisa Quintana
