"Piensa Como Dios Piensa!" (Think Like God Thinks!)

1 Corinthians 2:4-5, & 16 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power...16 For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ. "Piensa como Dios Piensa!" (Think like God thinks). These were the words we remember hearing from a pastor from Queretaro, Mexico when we were in bible school. He told a story of how one of his daughters had been stung by a scorpion when she was a little girl. There were no doctors around that could help them and she was reacting to the poison. Most deaths from scorpion stings occur within twenty-four hours and are secondary to cardiovascular or respiratory failure. Children especially have a more severe reaction due to a lower body weight, so they didn't have much time. Instead of being overcome with fear and worry, the pastor and his wife had to "think like God thinks!" They laid hands on their daughter and prayed until she was healed! Socrates is known for his contribution of wisdom to society. Even he himself is known for saying, "I know one thing, that I know nothing."
